We seek an experienced attorney (4+ years) to join our fast-growing civil defense litigation firm. We handle a variety of complex litigation matters. Responsibilities:

  • Defend individuals or organizations in civil litigation matters
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal correspondence
  • Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and build defense strategies
  • Handle depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
  • Negotiate settlements and manage case timelines
  • Communicate clearly with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
  • Maintain compliance with ethical rules and court procedures

Qualifications:

  • An active license to practice law in Illinois is required
  • A minimum of 4 years of litigation experience
  • Strong writing, oral advocacy, and critical thinking skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage a heavy caseload
