Required Skills:

• Current PA license with active certification
• BC Critical Care Certification required
• Proven experience in pediatric critical care or cardiology settings
• Strong knowledge of pediatric cardiac conditions, diagnostics, and treatments
• Proficiency in performing bedside procedures such as chest tube removal, pacing wire management, and line placements
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in high-acuity, fast-paced environments

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with mechanical circulatory support devices (e.g., ECMO, ventricular assist devices)
• Familiarity with pediatric heart failure management and transplant protocols
• Prior experience in a cardiac ICU or similar specialized setting
• Bilingual abilities or multilingual proficiency

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric critical care or cardiology experience preferred
• Certification in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and pediatric advanced life support (PALS)

Other Requirements:

• Able to work 5x13-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 20:00, with flexibility for occasional weekends and on-call duties
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
