Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our modern rehabilitation center, where you will work closely with a close-knit team of healthcare professionals. Our structured, low-turnover team environment encourages collaboration and ensures that each physical therapist can dedicate adequate time to every patient. You will enjoy a typical work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while addressing the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Marshall Movement Physical Therapy, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of each patient to assess their physical condition and develop individualized rehabilitation plans.
• Implementing manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises designed to facilitate recovery and promote healing.
• Educating patients and their families on effective self-management strategies for continued recovery and long-term health.
• Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records using our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our facility prides itself on creating a supportive and motivating environment for patients of all ages. You will be instrumental in tracking progress and implementing evidence-based techniques tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role must possess:

• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Michigan.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. While a Master's or Doctorate will enhance your application, we welcome candidates with a strong undergraduate background.
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with teammates.

Compensation and Benefits
