Title: Community Engagement Coordinator Location: Pendennis Castle, Falmouth, Cornwall, TR11 4LP Salary: From £25,593 p.a. / 36 hours per week / fixed term until November 2027 Job type: Fixed Term Contract (Ref 16450) Overview We are looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator to join the Pendennis Keep Connections project, coordinating a programme of activity and events that target existing and new audiences across the site. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the delivery of pilot activities and events as part of RoundOne of the National Lottery Heritage Fund project. Work collaboratively with the wider project team and site colleagues, including the site volunteer coordinator. Develop and deliver engagement activities with volunteers, contractors and freelancers to reach new audiences. Trial and test engagement opportunities and support the application for the RoundTwo delivery phase. Use a variety of methods to evaluate the success and impacts of community engagement activities. Coordinate the engagement programme to target diverse communities and hard‑to‑reach groups. Qualifications Experience of working in a community engagement setting, ideally within the heritage sector. Experience of working with volunteers and on volunteer‑led activities. Experience of developing and delivering activities and events with volunteers, contractors and freelancers to reach new audiences. Experience of working with diverse communities, hard‑to‑reach groups, external partners and community stakeholders. Experience of evaluating the success and impacts of community engagement activities.
