DIA Airport Queue Line Attendant - Denver International Airport Job Category : GSS Requisition Number : DIAAI020522 Posted: April 24, 2026 Full-Time Locations Showing 1 location Pay Range DOE: $20.50/hour - no shift differential; $18.81 during first week of training Work Schedule: 40 hours per week. Two consecutive days off per week on a set schedule. This is a temp-to-hire with the eligibility of full-time permanent placement. This position is eligible for Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act. All employees may also make pre‑tax or post‑tax (Roth) contributions to our retirement plan – must be 18 years of age to participate. JOB SUMMARY

Airport Queue (Line) Attendant responsible for keeping lines moving efficiently while providing courteous service to travelers. Work at Denver International Airport (DEN) TSA security checkpoints, supporting 65,000 travelers per day. Must communicate with passengers, divert queues, and record data metrics.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide wayfinding and customer services to the public (restroom location, etc.). Manage the Queue (Line) systems at TSA security checkpoints including verification of appropriate credentials before entry. Divert passengers to checkpoints with lowest wait time while considering walk time. Log and report checkpoint data metrics: wait times, available lanes, document check positions, and other metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the following requirements. Education High School diploma or equivalency. Experience Previous customer service experience and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment. Other Must be at least 21 years of age. Must pass a background check for airport badging. Can lift 50 lbs., stand for 8 hours, walk 15,000 steps daily. Clear speaking voice, able to project to groups. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle frequent questions. Background Requirements Full background investigation per client and compliance requirements, including criminal history, fingerprinting, and other security checks.
