Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our Ishpeming clinic, where you will be working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at our facility, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and disabilities.
  • Developing customized rehabilitation plans tailored to individual patient needs and goals.
  • Implementing hands-on therapy techniques, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to enhance recovery.
  • Educating patients and their families on effective strategies for managing injury and facilitating ongoing progress at home.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and share insights on care strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans using our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working primarily with orthopedic patients ranging from post-operative recovery individuals to those managing chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse clientele, ensuring that your rehabilitation methods are effective across varying ages and backgrounds.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • An active Physical Therapist license in Michigan.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is essential, although candidates with a Master's or Doctorate may be preferred.
  • Proven clinical judgment, exemplifying excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in manual therapy techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply and will be considered for the role.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist is required, we provide inviting support and mentorship for new graduates, fostering an environment where you can grow into a skilled practitioner. Compensation and Benefits

The annual compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
