Marshall Movement Physical Therapy in Norway, Michigan, is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. Work Environment

At Marshall Movement PT, you will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured workweek that promotes a healthy work-life balance. Each Physical Therapist generally manages a consistent patient load of one patient per hour, enabling you to devote time and attention to each individual's treatment plan.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as a Physical Therapist will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical capabilities and limitations.
  • Designing and implementing customized rehabilitation plans that promote optimal recovery, including strength training, manual therapy, and mobility exercises.
  • Utilizing evidence-based techniques and hands-on therapy methods to aid in the healing process.
  • Educating patients on effective home management strategies to support ongoing progress and independence in their care.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of each patient session in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborating with your team to modify treatment plans based on patient progress, integrating feedback and new findings as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population, primarily focusing on orthopedic and rehabilitation cases. Patients range from post-operative individuals recovering from surgery to athletes seeking to enhance their physical performance and non-athletes looking to improve quality of life through functional movement improvements. As a Physical Therapist, your work will be pivotal in helping these patients achieve their recovery and wellness goals, making your role directly impactful on their lives.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid and active Michigan Physical Therapist license is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; however, a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills and reliable clinical judgment to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

While the position welcomes new graduates, candidates with at least two years of clinical experience are highly valued. Experience with manual therapy techniques and knowledge of pain management protocols can be a distinct advantage, contributing to a richer patient care experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Marshall Movement Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual compensation ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
