Join the team at Hersheypark Camping Resort, campground located a few miles down the road from Hersheypark amusement park that features log and deluxe cabins, tent sites, and partial and full-hookup sites.
This position is responsible for providing grounds maintenance, primarily the maintenance and manicuring of existing landscape, to all areas of the Hersheypark Camping Resort.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Mowing both manually and riding
Picking up trash
Cleaning fire pits
Weeding, watering, and maintaining flower beds
Picking up sticks and branches
Performing other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Must possess a valid driver's license
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be able to operate a push mower and zero turn
Ability to safely use chemicals in and around the workplace meeting OSHA standards
General knowledge of landscaping, operation of mowers (zero turns), and all equipment associated with property maintenance
Organizational skills
Positive, professional employee and guest relations skills
Capable of working alone and as a team. Must be a self-starter
Ability to handle multiple priorities at once
Ability to understand instructions, both written and verbal
Job Demands:
Ability to stand, squat, walk, sit, and lift (90 % of shift)
Physical requirements include complete mobility and good physical conditioning, good hearing and vision, and ability to tolerate heat and adverse weather conditions
Proper footwear must be provided by employee - uniform shirts will be supplied
Must be able to push/pull/lift a maximum of 60 lbs.
Exposure to machinery, lawn equipment, and fuels
