Job Description

Caring Hands United, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and reliable Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care for clients in the Stone Mountain/Decatur, GA area. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities and personal care within their homes while working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and Staffing Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities
• Support clients in learning and performing independent living skills
• Provide light housekeeping and assist with grocery shopping
• Participate in recreational and social activities with clients
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities when needed
• Observe and document client behavior and report concerns
• Follow all care plans and procedures as directed by the supervising nurse

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the State of Georgia
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare facility or home care setting
• Ability to demonstrate proper CNA procedures and care techniques
• Must be able to travel to one or more client homes in the community
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

• TB/PPD Test
• Valid Driver's License
• Current Auto Insurance
