About the job IT Project Manager - US Remote


At Zarego , we are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team. As a pivotal link between our US-based stakeholders and our talented engineering teams in Latin America, you will lead cross-functional efforts to deliver high-impact software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation while balancing the demands of multiple projects.
  • Act as the main bridge between Latin American development teams and US clients.
  • Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain momentum.
  • Monitor project budgets and milestones to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Promote and refine Agile best practices within the organization.
What we're looking for:
  • 5+ years of experience managing software development projects from inception to delivery.
  • Startup Experience: Essential background working in fast-paced startup environments, managing rapid growth and evolving priorities.
  • Multi-project Mastery: Proven track record of overseeing multiple simultaneous projects and keeping them on track.
  • Technical Savvy: Strong understanding of the SDLC, Agile/Scrum frameworks, and technical concepts.
  • Leadership: Ability to motivate and lead distributed teams of developers, designers, and QA engineers.
  • Tooling Proficiency: Expert-level use of project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
  • Language: Advanced English proficiency (C1 - C2) is a must.
  • Location: Remote, but candidates must be based in one of the following cities: New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Houston.
Nice to have:
  • Bilingual Skills: Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Certifications: PMP, CSM (Certified Scrum Master), etc.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field.
