We're looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to help take our build and deployment automation to the next level. As a Junior DevOps Engineer you will help build the development and deployment infrastructure used by our Space Communications team, which provides infrastructure for a wide variety of US Government satellites.What You'll Be Focusing OnSupporting AWS-hosted and on-premises Kubernetes environments.Helping maintain reliable, secure, and highly available platform infrastructure.Maintaining and improving GitLab CI/CD pipelines to support software delivery.Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.Assisting with Kubernetes application deployments using Helm.Troubleshooting infrastructure, platform, and application issues across AWS and Kubernetes environments.Partnering with software engineers to improve deployment automation and developer workflows.Continuously improving platform observability, automation, reliability, and operational efficiency.Supporting software deployments into classified environments.What We Are Looking ForExperience working in Linux environments.Hands-on experience with Python or Go through professional work, internships, coursework, or personal projects.Exposure to Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, or other cloud-native technologies.Experience using Git for source control.Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government TS/SCI clearanceYou Might Be A Good Fit IfYou enjoy building and automating technical solutions.You like digging into complex technical problems and figuring out how things work.You've built projects outside of the classroom or workplace because you're curious and enjoy learning.You're comfortable collaborating with teammates and asking questions when you need help.You take ownership of your work and are eager to continuously improve your technical skills.You're excited to work on mission-critical software that supports national securityLocationThis role is a hybrid role based in Colorado Springs, CO that offers flexibility while supporting collaboration on classified work.
