WE PAY PROFIT SHARING BONUSES in addition to base wages and 95% company paid medical, dental and vision benefits after 30 days. Company pays 100% life insurance and eligible for 401K after 90 days.

We have an immediate need for CNC and Conventional Machinists in our machine shops (Lathes, horizontal and vertical boring mills, honing machines, grinding machines, etc). This position works daily with large, complex, fabricated components and requires an analytical approach to machining. Essential functions are as follows:

1. Responsible for the safe and efficient setup and operation of large mills and or lathes, including knowledge transfer for shift changes and relief operators.
2. Machine product to specified requirements as defined on job travelers, drawings, and sketches.
3. Verify tooling requirements are met in advance of the commencement of each job and escalate issues as appropriate.
4. Modify and edit CNC programming as required and communicate programming issues/concerns to supervision.
5. Complete and signoff of appropriate and relevant paperwork including time cards, job sheets, and routers.
6. Machine product at optimal conditions to maintain cost effectiveness of machining process.
7. Maintain tooling in optimal condition.
8. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precision measuring equipment.
9. Practice excellent housekeeping of the work area, including but not limited to floor, benches, and storage areas. Removes and sorts chips in accordance with operating instructions.
10. Work with overhead crane operators during setups.
11. Participate in other special projects for the department.
12. Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Safe work practices are a must.
• Applicants must possess the skills, experience, and training to function as effective industrial machinists once acquainted with the equipment.
• Selected candidates will be evaluated with a written and practical skills assessment.
• Successful candidates must successfully complete a physical examination and physical with a drug screen (hair sample).
