Power BI Developer
Location: Phoenix, AZ or McLean, VA - Hybrid

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Power BI development, DAX, data modeling, and enterprise reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building polished, executive-facing dashboards and scalable BI solutions for recognized organizations or consulting environments.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience with a strong portfolio of executive-facing dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
Advanced experience creating polished, visually compelling Power BI dashboards , including custom visuals, advanced visualization techniques, and adherence to corporate branding and business standards.
Strong expertise in DAX and data modeling , including:
Developing complex DAX measures and calculations.
Designing and optimizing semantic models.
Building scalable reporting solutions beyond basic drag-and-drop Power BI development.
Experience working with large and complex datasets in cloud and modern data environments such as:
Azure
Microsoft Fabric
Snowflake
Databricks
SQL Server
Strong understanding of Power BI performance tuning and report optimization , including improving dashboard responsiveness and semantic model performance.
Experience delivering multiple enterprise-level BI projects for recognized organizations or consulting firms.
Ability to independently translate complex business requirements into intuitive, executive-ready Power BI solutions .
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and with business stakeholders.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality, client-ready solutions with minimal oversight .
