Lots of exciting things are happening at KDP and we'd love for you to be a part of it!The Williamson, NY operation is a roughly 1 million sq ft production facility with 217 acres of land. The site is the Home of the Brand Motts that has been delighting our consumers for more than 140 years. We produce a wide variety of products with diverse packaging capabilities going from apple sauce, to juices and concentrates. Alongside production, the site includes a raw apple operation that is key for the success of the site. This facility is a unionized location. We are adding to our facility and have lots opportunity to grow and learn our industry!The Production Technician II is responsible for the complete operation and changeover of assigned machines within PhD and all other associated work. This includes safely maintaining, repairing, replacing and assisting in modifying all processing, packaging, and facility equipment in accordance with on-line quality and Best Practice procedures.Shift / Schedule: This is a union facility so flexibility to work any day or any night shift pattern is required. Positions are mainly 12 hour positions, with few 8 hour shifts available but not guaranteed; based on seniority.6:00pm - 6:00am2:00pm – 10:30pm10:00pm – 6:30amPosition Responsibilities:Operate machine in accordance with on-line quality and Best Practice proceduresHandle empty casesPerform Best Practice quality checksWatch for defective materialsClean and sanitize equipment and facilityPerform preventative maintenanceComplete mechanical repairsAssist mechanics during repairsPerform quality inspections and associated paperworkMake data driven process adjustmentsTroubleshoot potential problemsTrain other operatorsPerform all work in accordance with established safety proceduresWear all required safety gear and follow all GMP rules and regulationsTotal Rewards: Pay starting at $27.29 per hour.
