The Lititz Infusion and Oncology Care of UPMC located in gorgeous Lancaster County, Pennsylvania is looking to add a Professional Staff Nurse (RN) to their team of life changers. The Infusion Center is a 10-chair location that thrives on its teamwork and is one of the most essential aspects of this position. We value a shared governance model of Relationship Based Care in relating with our team and our patients. Our Professional Staff Nurses (RNs) are valuable and an integral resource to facilitate patient care through our UPMC system. The RN will network with our team to ensure quality patient outcomes in an efficient manner. We look forward to sharing our vision and knowledge with qualified candidates.
HOURS: Monday - Friday, daylight hours. Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 4:15 pm; Friday 7:30 am - 3:00 pm. On-call shifts are required. All nursing staff take call on weekends and holidays. Typical call rotation is every 6 weeks. More details about this will be discussed in the interview.

Responsibilities:The individual must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and/or interact appropriately to the ages of the patients served by his/her assigned unit as specified below. They must also demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs and to provide the care needs as described in the department policy and procedures.
*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
