Daily Responsibilities:

1. Trim grass from road shoulder using line trimmer.

2. Remove any debris along roads and common areas, using a blower and hand tools.

3. Maintain proper gas mixture for each trimmer or blower being used. Report equipment problems to supervisor.

4. Remove leaves and debris from ditches and culverts to ensure proper drainage.

5. Underbrush lots by cutting and removing small undergrowth using a chipper and hand tools.

6. Work on roads and ditches as assigned by supervisor reporting any deterioration of roads.

7. Maintain guardrails and fencing, repairing and painting as required.

8. Maintain all signage including traffic signs, reporting any problems to the supervisor.

9. Wear safety equipment while operating trimmers, blowers, chipper or performing other duties requiring safety equipment.

10. Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

General Responsibilities:

1. Perform all assigned set-up, work area maintenance, clean up and closedown procedures and duties.

2. Exhibit courteous, pleasant conduct with all people always.

Requirements

Position Qualifications:

1. Must be 18 years of age.
2. Must have a valid Driver's License.
3. Available to work overtime, holidays and weekends as needed, in addition to regular scheduled hours.
4. This job may require standing, stooping, bending, or lifting up to 80 lbs.
