Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with professional communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including halls, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directing foot traffic, reporting suspicious behavior, and supporting a professional atmosphere across the location.
• Assist with routine security-related reporting, note-taking, and pass-down communication, helping to support continuity of operations across shifts and/or departments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue setting.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
