Salary: $126,000 - 166,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in data science, computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, or another quantitative discipline.
• We look for 3+ years of increasingly complex data science experience.
• We need strong hands-on experience developing and deploying advanced algorithms using machine learning, statistical, and optimization approaches.
• We expect expertise with modern analytics tools, programming languages, and cloud platforms such as Python, R, Spark, SQL, and Google Cloud Platform.
• We value strong problem-solving ability with a focus on product development.
• We seek experience designing rapid experiments to evaluate new ideas or initiatives and iterating quickly.
• We require effective communication and collaboration skills across all levels.
• A masters degree and/or Ph.D. is preferred.
• Retail, logistics, supply chain management, or marketing model experience is preferred.
• Experience with commercial or open-source optimization tools such as Gurobi, Pyomo, or CPLEX is preferred.
• We expect the ability to follow company policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
• We require the ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling expectations.
• We need basic math, reading, handwriting, and computer operation skills.
• We expect the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and stay composed under pressure.
• We require the ability to work as part of a team and respond proactively to direction from leadership and colleagues.

• We partner with data science teams and cross-functional stakeholders to solve business challenges using advanced analytics and machine learning.
• We lead exploratory data analysis to uncover actionable insights.
• We translate business needs into technical solutions.
• We design, build, and implement statistical, machine learning, and optimization models.
• We tune and improve models and algorithms to enhance performance and scalability.
• We help design experiments to answer targeted business questions.
• We identify opportunities to improve key business metrics within assigned functional areas.
• We drive adoption and practical use of data science products and models.
• We convert data science outputs into measurable business outcomes and value.
• We mentor junior data scientists and promote ongoing learning and development.
• We stay current on data science and technology trends and look for ways to apply them to innovation.
• We perform large-scale optimization and statistical analysis across areas such as web analytics, forecasting, supply chain, pricing, and inventory management.
• We refine model tuning by adjusting objective functions and constraints.
• We may take on additional tasks as needed.
• We plan, prioritize, and monitor activities across business units.
• We complete or oversee projects in a timely manner.
