Robert Half is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our Loan Staff Consultant Program in the Miami market. Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity

• Support month-end close processes and prepare accurate financial statements

• Conduct financial analysis and provide detailed explanations of budget-to-actual variances

• Monitor budgets, expenses, and cash flow to help ensure financial stability and operational efficiency

• Maintain compliance with internal policies and established accounting standards

• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to reporting needs

• Analyze revenue across multiple hotel departments, including rooms and food & beverage

• Assist with forecasting and budgeting to support financial planning and decision-making

• Partner with leadership and finance team members to promote collaboration and maintain financial integrity

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of accounting or finance experience within the hospitality or hotel industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, controls, and compliance standards.
• Hands-on experience with M3 and Birchstreet software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis and modeling.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven expertise in cash flow management, account reconciliations, and budget monitoring.
