Job Description
We are looking for a full time or part time associate veterinarian that wants to perform top quality small animal or mixed animal veterinary medicine. Our practice currently has 3 full time veterinarians and 3 part time veterinarians. One of our small animal veterinarians also does exotic animal medicine. Our practice is 15 years old and most of the staff has been with us from the start. We have 4-5 office personnel, 7 registered veterinary technicians, 4 vet assistants, and a groomer. Our hospital has all the modern equipment including but not limited to 3 ultrasound units, small animal digital radiographs, in-house IDEXX bloodwork and urinalysis machines, cold therapy laser, dental radiographs, etc.
At Vale Veterinary Hospital we treat all of our team members like family and we will do anything to help them succeed. We are looking for a veterinarian that will fit in to our laid back, but very busy practice. We are located in a small town, but are just minutes away from several big cities.
The veterinarian we are looking for would be easy to get along with, is open to being mentored by experienced veterinarians, and would love to practice the best quality veterinary medicine possible. There are no small animal after hour emergency services provided, because of the proximity to a veterinary referral hospital at does emergency veterinary medicine. A normal work week would include 4 days of work. You would get paid time off, sick days, competitive pay, insurance, CE allowance, 401K, at cost veterinary care for your pets, and a fun group of trained professionals to work with. There is 1 doctor performing surgery everyday, and 1-2 doctors seeing rooms for small animal medicine. We are a busy and fast paced rural veterinary hospital that works by appointments, but there are some walk-in or drop-off clients also. We offer referral to numerous specialty veterinary hospitals that are about 1 hour away. We also perform a lot of surgeries including numerous orthopedic surgeries.
