As a Software Development Intern , you'll be part of the team at the heart of building and improving our solution. During this 3-month internship, you'll gain hands‑on experience with real projects, learn from experienced developers, and contribute directly to Odoo's products used worldwide. Working tools Database: PostgreSQL (with object-relational mapping) Development model: Open with external community Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Odoo features and applications Improve existing code to increase performance, usability, and reliability Ensure the quality and consistency of developments through testing and reviews Be responsible of what you develop Work directly on the software you code for! About R&D teams Our development teams are working on a large scope of apps. At first, you'll start your onboarding as a "generalist", but after your 3 weeks of initial training (both functional and technical), the stage is yours. Choose a team that resonates with your passion and skills. Business apps From Point of Sales, to Logistics and Accounting, engage in projects that redefine business efficiency through feature enhancements and innovations. API / Connectors Integrate Odoo with payment gateways, delivery providers, AI, and many other services. Python framework Where it's all about performances and optimizations. (ORM based on PostgreSQL). Frontend UI From Website Builder to PoS systems, develop intuitive and responsive interfaces using XML, JS, and OWL framework to enhance user interaction and business workflow efficiency. Be at the forefront of mobile development, ensuring all Odoo apps run seamlessly on iOS and Android. AI Develop machine learning and LLM projects, from simple API-based personalized web placeholders to advanced use cases involving custom model development. Security The guardians of excellence from product security (including code reviews and security patches) to system administration issues (testing, best practices, etc.), ensuring the robustness and integrity of our software ecosystem.
