LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Energy Accountant at the staff to senior level to join our client's team. This role is ideal for an accountant who enjoys hands-on accounting work, wants exposure to both AP and revenue processes, and is looking for long-term growth.

The position focuses heavily on JIB and AP processing, reconciliations, and analysis, with opportunities to expand responsibilities over time. The anticipated salary is between $60,000-$90,000 a year.

Responsibilities:

· Process and upload JIB and AP transactions accurately and timely

· Prepare and post journal entries and support month-end close activities

· Perform account analysis and reconciliations, including ad hoc requests

· Assist with AP accruals and bank reconciliations

· Support internal reporting and financial analysis as needed

· Gain exposure to revenue accounting processes

· Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to resolve discrepancies

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

· 1-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the energy industry

· Familiarity with JIB accounting and accounts payable processes

· Strong Excel skills and general accounting system experience

· Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills

· Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment

· Exposure to revenue accounting

· Experience with reconciliations and accruals
