Looking for part time care for my elderly mother in Silver City, NM. Not far from town, and close WNM University and to the National Forest. This could be part time guaranteed four hours a week position or it could be a live in position in trade for rent. This is a stunning location and a live in opportunity could be made for the right individual if desired. Responsibilities (whether live in or out): (Some) Meal preparation, light housekeeping, assistance with grocery shopping and getting to medical appointments. Checking in (texts or phone calls) with assigned family members would also be part of the responsibilities. The candidate should have a compassionate and patient demeanor, along with excellent communication skills. Experience in elder care is preferred, but we are open to someone gaining experience in this field.
