**Job Summary:**The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs across multiple locations, including warehouse, field, and office environments. This role ensures compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations, promotes a strong safety culture, and drives continuous improvement in workplace safety, risk prevention, and incident reduction. The EHS Specialist will serve as the primary owner of OSHA-related compliance and reporting, support fleet safety initiatives, and partner with site leaders to ensure safe operations across all facilities.**Job Description:****Key Responsibilities****EHS Program Management*** Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs across multi-site operations including warehouses, office spaces, and field environments.* Conduct regular site assessments to identify risks, ensure compliance, and recommend corrective actions.* Partner with site leadership to reinforce safety standards and accountability.* Promote a proactive safety culture through education, visibility, and engagement.**OSHA Compliance & Ownership*** Serve as the primary point of contact for OSHA compliance, recordkeeping, and reporting.* Maintain OSHA logs (300, 300A, 301) and ensure accuracy and timeliness.* Lead preparation for and response to OSHA inspections, audits, and inquiries.* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.* Develop and maintain required safety policies, procedures, and documentation.* Monitor regulatory changes and update programs accordingly.**Warehouse & Office Safety*** Support safe operations in warehouse environments including material handling, equipment use, ergonomics, and hazard communication.* Ensure office environments meet safety standards related to ergonomics, emergency preparedness, and workplace safety practices.* Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments as needed.* Lead safety walkthroughs and inspections across sites.**Fleet Safety Support*** Support fleet safety programs including driver safety initiatives, incident reviews, and risk mitigation practices.* Partner with operations leadership to promote safe driving behaviors and compliance with company policies.* Assist in reviewing motor vehicle incidents and identifying trends and preventive measures.* Support driver safety training and awareness efforts.* Reporting incidents and support insurance claims with fleet vendors.**Incident Management & Prevention*** Lead incident reporting, investigation, and root cause analysis across all sites.* Track and analyze safety metrics, trends, and risk areas.* Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans.* Ensure timely documentation and follow-up on all safety incidents.**Training & Awareness*** Develop, coordinate and deliver safety training programs including OSHA-required training, new hire safety orientation, and ongoing safety education.* Ensure required certifications and training are completed and tracked.* Develop safety communications, alerts, and resources to support employee awareness.**Emergency Preparedness*** Support development and maintenance Standard Operating Procedures including emergency action plans for all locations.* Coordinate drills and preparedness activities (fire, evacuation, severe weather, etc.).* Ensure proper safety equipment and procedures are in place and maintained.* Coordinate proper practices for handling situations with batteries overheating, swelling, and possibility of catching on fire.**Cross-Functional Partnership*** Work closely with HR, Facilities, Operations, and site leaders to support safe work environments.* Support workers’ compensation processes through incident documentation and return-to-work coordination.* Provide guidance to leaders on safety compliance and best practices.**Qualifications****Required*** 3–6+ years of experience in environmental health and safety, preferably in multi-site environments.* Strong working knowledge and compliance with OSHA standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.* Experience managing multi-location safety programs.* Experience supporting warehouse and/or operational environments.* Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.* Ability to travel regularly to multiple locations.* Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.**Preferred*** Experience supporting both warehouse and office safety programs.* Familiarity with fleet safety programs and driver risk management.* Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (or equivalent experience).* OSHA 30 certification or similar safety credential.**Worker Type:**Regular**Number of Openings Available:**1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Elovate
