ABOUT THE TEAM

SIXGEN supports missions by serving government and commercial organizations as they overcome global cybersecurity challenges. In this position, you’ll provide meaningful support to our customer’s missions and operations. You’ll work alongside a team of highly skilled operators who are dedicated to using innovative processes, tools, and techniques to get things done. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications, including both front-end interfaces and back-end services/APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and deliver scalable, secure software.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern frameworks and programming languages.
  • Implement data processing, user authentication, and secure communication features in compliance with government standards.
  • Participate in software integration, testing, debugging, and deployment within mission-critical environments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government Security clearance up to the Secret or TS level 
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and back-end languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, C++).
  • Experience working in Linux-based environments and with RESTful APIs, databases, and version control tools (e.g., Git).
    Familiarity with secure coding practices and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience supporting DoD software development efforts.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and GitLab CI.

US Salary Range

$90,000 - $185,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. The final salary offer will be determined after a thorough review of the candidate's background and alignment with the role.
