Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will be tasked with a variety of important responsibilities, including:

  • Conducting initial assessments and full evaluations of patients to understand their conditions and needs.
  • Developing and implementing customized rehabilitation plans tailored to individual patient goals and progress.
  • Utilizing hands-on therapy techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate healing.
  • Instructing and educating patients on home management techniques to maintain and improve their progress outside of therapy sessions.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to discuss patient care strategies and ensure cohesive treatment approaches.
  • Maintaining clear and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment sessions using our electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Patients at Marshall Movement Physical Therapy range in age from young adults to elderly individuals, all with unique needs and rehabilitation goals. Your expertise will not only help them regain strength but also enhance their overall quality of life through personalized care and support.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

  • Active Michigan physical therapy license.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration.
  • Reliable clinical judgment and the ability to critically assess patients' conditions.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applications from new graduates, it is preferred that candidates have at least 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting. Candidates should also be familiar with EMR systems for efficient documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
