We are seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join our team in the restaurant industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in light electrical work, light plumbing, general building repair, and general building maintenance. As a General Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our restaurant facilities.

HERE-S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:


As an integral member of the Facilities Team, this position is responsible for:


- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing plumbing leaks, and fixing minor electrical issues.


- Conduct regular inspections of the building to identify maintenance needs.


- Assist with general building repairs, including drywall repair, painting, and carpentry work.


- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance equipment and supplies.


- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from restaurant staff.


- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant facilities.

HERE-S WHAT Education - Experience YOU WILL NEED:


- High school diploma or equivalent


- 1-2 years of experience in general maintenance work, preferably in the restaurant industry


- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and building repair techniques


- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.


- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities


- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.


- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.


- Capability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
