Summary: This role will focus on providing technical design implementation and configuration of technical parameters for Okta MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication). This role will be part of the Authentication and Authorization team responsible for delivering Okta and other AthN/Z initiatives to the enterprise. Must have the ability to act as an SME in the AuthN/Z subject. This position will be responsible for all aspects of the design implementation and delivery of MFA and SSO Solutions for cloud and legacy systems.
Roles & Responsibilities :
• Essential Duties: Design and implement Technical processes and procedures needed for the onboarding of applications into Okta.
• Work with the application owners and application developers to design and implement the operational processes best suited to their application.
• Collaborate with the Okta Operational Engineers and the application owners to resolve technical problems.
• Act as the lead to the Okta Technical SME Responsible for monitoring the Okta environment for technical problems and taking immediate action where possible or escalating to the vendors when required Work with the IAM Sr Leadership team to identify design and implement new Okta processes and procedures as the environment changes or the software is updated by the vendor.
• Identify ways to improve customer experiences with Okta. Ability to assist the Cloud IAM team with implementing role requests and Azure B2C app and policy setups. Will work across multiple businesses under the Global Payments umbrella.
Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science- Computer Science and/or 8 - 10 years of IT role 8 - 10 years of work experience in an IT role with experience in Identity & Access Management role or similar role within the Identity & Access management work environment Experience in the following areas:
• Single Sign On (SSO)/Federation architectures Multifactor Authentication (Okta experience preferred) SAML OAuth2 and Open IDC Rest API services XML JSON Authentication/Authorization protocols Experience with task automation scripting using Powershell or similar language.
• xperience with user account provisioning using integrated HR systems Ability to solve common design and development problems.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and interpersonal skills. Work experience with Okta Sailpoint (Identity Now IIQ) Work experience with Azure B2C Google Cloud (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Development and coding skills are highly preferred
