Billing Admin Assistant

This is an entry level to Medical Billing position.

We are looking for an extremely detail-oriented, highly accurate individual who is motivated and displays a proactive attitude! Desire for learning and growth is necessary in this intro to Medical Billing position. Experience in the medical field and/or accounts receivable is a plus, but not necessary as we are willing to train the right candidate.

Required Skills

Given this role in our organization, the best candidate will possess the following skills:

• Computer experience including, but not limited to: word processing, spreadsheet applications, minimum typing 40 wpm, 10-key by touch
• High level of attention to detail ensuring accuracy at all times
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively

• Effective and professional communicator, both verbally and written
• Quick learner, adaptable to many different systems and computer applications
• Able to remain calm under pressure
• Possesses strong work ethic, stays productive, and is up to a challenge

Team member will be responsible for ensuring patient demographic and charge information are entered into the system accurately, quickly, and compliantly to allow for clean claim billing. This may include, but is not limited to coordinating benefits, verifying eligibility, data entry type tasks, resolving failed or rejected claims as well as communicating effectively and professionally with peers, patients, and clients.

• Hours/Week: 40 hours per week (8:30 am - 5:00 pm) M-F *flexible
