About the Role:

Join our passionate team at Montebello Children's Dentistry as a Pediatric Dental Assistant! In this role, you will help create a positive and engaging dental experience for children while supporting our dedicated dental professionals. If you love working with kids and want to make a difference in their dental health, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during pediatric procedures and examinations.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Educate children and their parents on proper dental hygiene practices.
• Manage patient records .
• Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Provide compassionate support to children to ease their dental anxiety.
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and reorder as necessary.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry or dental assisting is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor with children.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and sterilization techniques.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and a passion for helping children.
• Dental software knowledge Eaglesoft and Digital Xray Nomad
