Job Overview

Bingham Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pipe Insulator to join our growing team in Idaho Falls, ID. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing and finishing mechanical insulation systems on piping, ductwork, and equipment in a wide range of commercial and industrial settings. This position is ideal for someone who values quality workmanship, teamwork, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-standard results.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and finish mechanical insulation on piping, ductwork, and equipment using various materials and techniques.
• Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to complete work accurately.
• Work closely with foremen, project managers, and team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked job sites and company tools.
• Inspect work for quality, proactively correcting deficiencies and preventing rework.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, clients, and contractors.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures; attend safety meetings and use appropriate PPE.
• Participate in company-sponsored meetings and training sessions to maintain up-to-date best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical insulation preferred; training may be provided for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with insulation materials such as fiberglass, elastomeric, mineral wool, and foam glass.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering top-quality results.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings.
• Punctual, reliable, and capable of managing tasks independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Safety-first mindset with adherence to all jobsite protocols.
• Valid driver's license required.

Schedule

• Full-time - Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Work Location

• In-person role based in Idaho Falls, ID, with work on surrounding local job sites.
