The Revenue Manager will manage the operational revenue work flow of the association nationwide, including our National Center and five multi-state regions. Will provide direct coaching and supervision to two Revenue Supervisors who each oversee a team of Revenue Accountants and Associates. The Revenue Manager is accountable for providing high-level customer service to National Center and region staff.This is a full-time position. Responsibilities Manage month-end close process for Revenue team. Oversee revenue-related activities around annual audit and 990/990T preparation.Guide and direct team to achieve goals. Accountable for hiring, directing, training, and evaluating staff.Assess, recommend and implement revenue accounting processes and strategies to ensure generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) adherence and consistency in practices.Assist Revenue Accounting Director in review and analysis of National Center and region contracts/agreements and monitoring Accounts Receivables aging and collections.Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on select departmental and association-wide projects impacting revenue, including integration with development and Business Technology departments.Collaborate with Risk Assessment staff at National Center to ensure processes are appropriate and adhere to Payment Card Industry (PCI) regulations. Qualifications 6+ years experience in accounting, financial reporting, or related area. 3+ years experience working with nonprofit accounting preferred.5+ years experience in revenue accounting and accounts receivable.3+ years of experience in a staff management capacity.3+ years of demonstrated understanding of U.S. GAAP, with a focus in the area of revenue recognition and accounts receivable.Skilled in use of Microsoft Office applications; hands-on experience with ERP systems. Experience with JDEdwards EnterpriseOne preferred.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Ability to identify, promote, and implement change and efficiencies.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to interact with all levels of staff; strong customer service skills.Ability to work independently.Preferred Skills:Active Cetified Public Accountant License (CPA) or CPA Candidate.
