Seeking exceptional and outcome-focused Applied Researchers at all levels, the fully remote position will conduct applied research into novel methods for representing and streaming animated 3D content, while collaborating closely with rendering engineers and cloud processing teams to transition successful experiments into production-ready code. Key responsibilities Conduct applied research focused on Gaussian splatting and efficient streaming for low-power mobile AR/VR devices Quickly develop proof-of-concepts and transition successful experiments to production-ready code Collaborate with engineers to optimize data formats, rendering pipelines, and automated processing workflows Required qualifications MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience Proven track record in advancing research in radiance fields, photogrammetry, or real-time rendering with relevant publications Strong understanding of modern 3D rendering pipelines and concepts Excellent programming skills in Python and C++ with experience in performance optimization Ability to quickly understand and implement complex research papers and deliver working code
